the new constructivism - our lookbook for summer 2023
cross beams is our latest lookbook that embraces the spirit of constructivism and invites you into a world of graphic patterns and industrial inspiration. this lookbook features three new stunning rugs, cushions, kitchen towels and lampshades - including our first printed lamp base - all brought to life through our fusion of our architectural, geometric printing blocks: circles and crosses and bold stripes and zigzags, resembling stark structures and the ever-moving process of building.
the idea for these new looks was inspired by a building site in dundee. seeing the construction work built up by steel beams with circular cuts we instantly recognised the connection with our architecturally inspired printing blocks. in line with the zitozza philosophy - turning the mundane, everyday into cherished objects - we transformed these ideas into colourful, bold patterns that create a cosy, curious home interior.
everything is carefully hand block printed with a palette of primary colours (lemon yellows, sky blues, bright reds) and we are also introducing prints on colourful base cloths. this is a vibrant, summery look - join us on this creative journey as we celebrate the beauty of abstract geometries and the excitement of building!

a new and warm addition - same bold colours, but printed on an orange recycled cotton blend for a bit of extra colour! printed in primary colours in the geometric “noughts and crosses” of the SOROMPÓ and LUNA tilesets, this is a very playful, happy cushion that suits perfectly in a contemporary, perhaps somewhat nautical-themed interior. a definite favourite for the summer house!

a fun, stripy one for the late summer refreshing of your home. this lampshade is printed on sky blue recycled cotton it in just a single diagonally striped tile of the SOROMPÓ tileset in primary colours for a bold and effective, somewhat nautical look. it is a lightweight, smooth fabric with a soft texture when lit up - with the blues giving a cooler light for those ambient summer nights. it is colourful and contemporary - the perfect accent piece!
the lampshade is a straight cylinder with a 40 cm diameter and 26 cm depth. it comes with a small plastic adapter ring you can remove to fit to most UK or EU standard fittings.
this is the first one of a new experiment - a complete lamp, with a printed shade and matching, printed base! and we are absolutely loving this slightly nautical, industrial one. this base is printed on an orange dyed jute with the SOROMPÓ and KÖRFORGALOM tilesets in a simpe abstract geometric pattern forming “chains” in our latest lookbook’s industrial inspired style, while the shade is printed on natural jute with matching orange and light blue colours in a more broken-up pattern. it’s bold and fun - with cosy, ambient lights when lit up. a beautiful accent piece for the contemporary summer home.
the lamp base has a diameter of 15cm and is 36cm tall. the lampshade has a 25cm diameter and is 26 cm tall - the full height of the lamp is 63cm. included with E27 electric fitting and UK plug. max 60W - please use an energy saving bulb.
