intellectual property and copyrights
all content on this website, including but not limited to imagery, text, photographic content, and the original geometric patterns and tileset designs, is the exclusive intellectual property of zitozza. you are strictly prohibited from copying, downloading, reproducing, or creating derivative works from any content or designs without express written permission.
privacy and data
we value your privacy. all information submitted is handled in accordance with our privacy policy and gdpr requirements. we do not share your data with third parties, with the exception of essential service providers (e.g., courier and delivery companies).
security: this website is hosted by squarespace and all transactions are secured via SSL encryption.
cookies: we use cookies to improve site performance and user experience. you may adjust your browser settings to manage cookie preferences.
liability
zitozza provides this website on an “as is” basis. we are not liable for:
content published by third parties linked to this website.
any damage or loss caused by malicious software or viruses.
interruptions to service or the termination of zitozza.com. we reserve the right to suspend accounts or restrict access for users who breach these terms.
purchasing products
availability and handmade nature
zitozza products are hand-printed and often made to order. while we strive for accuracy in our photography, the nature of hand-block printing and variations in digital screen displays mean that slight differences in colour and surface finish may occur. these are not considered faults but are characteristic of the artisanal process.
in the event of a pricing or availability error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.
pricing and payment
all prices are in GBP and include applicable UK taxes.
payments are due in full at the time of ordering via our secure payment gateways (visa, mastercard, amex, apple pay, paypal).
we reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without notice.
conditions of sale
an order is considered confirmed once you click “confirm order.” you will receive an automated acknowledgement email. once payment is processed for standard stock, orders cannot be cancelled after dispatch. for made to order or bespoke items, cancellation is not possible once production has commenced.
bespoke services
specifications
custom designed products are manufactured to the specifications provided in your customisation forms or subsequent correspondence.
colour matching
digital colours are indicative. if a precise match is required, the customer must provide a physical colour swatch.
fire retardancy
unless explicitly requested and quoted for, fabrics are supplied unrated for fire retardancy. it is the customer’s responsibility to specify the required standard (e.g., domestic vs. contract). treatment is currently only available for UK-based orders.
quotes and samples
quotes for custom orders are valid for the specific quantities and designs discussed. zitozza reserves the right to amend quotes if specifications change. sample costs are non-refundable, though they may be credited against the final order at our discretion. final custom orders require approval of the sample and written confirmation of the quote.
payment for bespoke orders
bespoke orders are typically invoiced via BACS or card payment. production will only commence upon receipt of payment in full. once payment is received, bespoke/custom orders cannot be cancelled or amended.
DELIVERY
dispatch times
in-stock items: 2–3 business days.
made to order: approximately 2 weeks.
bespoke/custom: lead times are provided individually upon quote.
note: lead times are estimates and are not guaranteed. zitozza is not liable for losses resulting from delivery delays.
delivery costs
mainland UK: £6.50 (medium) / £12.00 (large/heavyweight).
international (EU): £20.00 (medium) / £35.00 (large).
international (USA): £30.00 (medium) / £55.00 (large).
import duties: for orders outside the UK, the customer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
cancellation period
for non-custom items, you must notify us of your intent to return within 14 days of receipt. items must be returned to us within 28 days of the original receipt date.
exceptions (non-returnable items)
the following cannot be returned or refunded:
bespoke or made to order products:
these are tailored to your specifications and are exempt from standard return rights under UK law.
modified goods:
any fabric or product that has been cut, treated, or processed by the customer.
natural variations:
imperfections in the hand-printing process or natural slubs in the jute/linen weave are part of the design and are not considered faults.
return conditions
the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and ensuring the items are securely packaged.
items must be received in their original, resaleable condition.
unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
refunds (excluding original delivery costs) will be processed within 30 days of us receiving the goods in satisfactory condition.
