our new release for 2024, TÉGLA (hungarian for brick) is one of the most extensive systems in the zitozza library. comprising over 20 separate printing blocks, this tileset is a deep exploration of the "brick" as a modular unit, taking direct inspiration from the rhythmic facades and structural details of the industrial townscape.

TÉGLA is built for complexity. while its rectangular elements can create simple, monochromatic "coordinator" fabrics, the true power of the set lies in its intricate, interlocking potential. with the inclusion of specialized corner motifs, the TÉGLA system allows for the creation of structured borders and frames — evoking a sense of ancient mesoamerican geometry reimagined through a brutalist lens.
