TRANZIT
Network Topology & Infrastructure as Ornament
the TRANZIT tileset is a sophisticated study in logistics and movement. inspired by the intricate, interlocking grids of railway networks, road systems, and transit hubs, these motifs translate the “macro” textures of the industrial landscape into a "micro" textile language.
through the use of smaller complementary tiles, TRANZIT allows for the creation of dense, lace-like patterns that reveal themselves the closer you look. while rooted in the sharp geometry of transportation networks, the system takes on a tactile, handcrafted warmth when printed on our coarse, sustainable jute.
it is a design that thrives on the tension between the industrial and the artisanal. the grid-like structures provide a perfect framework for additional hand-stitched detailing, allowing you to layer a human rhythm over the structural logic of the print. whether in high-contrast neons or muted architectural tones, TRANZIT is a statement, showstopper system for the modern, warehouse-led interior.
