the TRÓPUS tileset is an unapologetic celebration of the tropics, reimagined through the vibrant, high-energy lens of the 1970s. part of our latest HERITAGE release, these motifs take a bold, literal approach to retro-modernist design, capturing the "sun-drenched" optimism of mid-century textile history.
the system is built on a dialogue between botanical fluidity and rhythmic geometry. TRÓPUS features two distinct wave motifs and circular-enclosed floral elements that evoke the graphic clarity of a beachside sunset. while the inspirations are nostalgic, the execution is entirely contemporary — designed to be layered in bold, saturated colourways that contrast brilliantly against the coarse, golden texture of our sustainable jute.
