KAKTUSZ
Textile Archetypes & Pixelated Geometry
KAKTUSZ (the hungarian word for cactus) is a tribute to the universal language of woven traditions. part of our HERITAGE collection, this tileset draws inspiration from the rhythmic diagonals and diamond motifs of folk weaving, reimagined with a sharp, "pixelated" edge that bridges the gap between ancient craft and contemporary graphic design.
the motifs in the KAKTUSZ system are designed to mimic the structural logic of knots and warps. when hand-printed on our sustainable jute and linen, the "pixelated" borders of the design interact beautifully with the natural slubs of the fabric, creating a rustic, multi-dimensional texture. it is a tileset that celebrates the "globetrotter" spirit—ideal for creating a lush, bohemian atmosphere that feels both travelled and curated.
whether executed in sun-drenched, earthy tones or layered in high-contrast palettes, KAKTUSZ brings a sense of handcrafted permanence and textile heritage to the modern interior.
