this is a piece of abstract embroidery, part of a series exploring brutalist architecture further in unique designs. you might recognise this element - ABLAK (meaning window) also features heavily amongst our prints and the form is a geometric deconstruction of the deep-sitting concrete windows found on many brutalist facades. using the natural hessian as a backing cloth just further emphasises the functional, raw feel.

this piece is 20 x 30 cm and comes in a 30 x 40 cm thin black, plastic frame with a white mount inside and a hanging piece for wall nails or hooks.

this artwork is part of the jutefest exhibition in dundee. deliveries will be completed in september 2021.
