this is a piece of abstract embroidery, part of a series exploring brutalist architecture further in unique designs. there is a rhythm to this one - the dynamic, angled forms are a reference to the perspective we see three dimensional forms from, and the shadows and textures it forms on the facade - which is where the title comes from. a happy, green, red, pink and orange colour scheme matches our prints well and goes against the contrast of the natural hessian cloth.

this piece is 20 x 30 cm and comes in a 30 x 40 cm thin black, plastic frame with a white mount inside and a hanging piece for wall nails or hooks.

this artwork is part of the jutefest exhibition in dundee. deliveries will be completed in september 2021.
