WALL ART
ÁRUHÁZ / STORE
£150.00
this is a piece of abstract embroidery, part of a series exploring brutalist architecture further in unique designs. out of the whole series it is perhaps the most direct reference to a building. its elongetad hexagonal pattern is reminiscent of the geometric facade of large buildings standing on “legs” with, perhaps, arcades underneath - hence the title ÁRUHÁZ (translates to store from hungarian). the hessian base cloth gives a neutral background to the vibrant colour scheme.
this piece is 20 x 30 cm and comes in a 30 x 40 cm thin black, plastic frame with a white mount inside and a hanging piece for wall nails or hooks.
this artwork is part of the jutefest exhibition in dundee. deliveries will be completed in september 2021.
