this is a piece of abstract embroidery, part of a series exploring brutalist architecture further in unique designs. LÉPCSŐHÁZ is translated from hungarian as stairwell and this dynamic element is inspired by the concrete staircases of modernist / brutalist architecture. the vibrant contrast of bright orange / navy blue colour is fitting perfectly to be paired with our prints!

this piece is 20 x 30 cm and comes in a 30 x 40 cm thin black, plastic frame with a white mount inside and a hanging piece for wall nails or hooks.

this artwork is part of the jutefest exhibition in dundee. deliveries will be completed in september 2021.
